We are proposing to present three events: A experiential performance on June 29, a panel discussion about the development of creativity on June 30, and a weeklong poetry and performance intensive for youth July 23-27.
We plan to present poets and creators together at The Memorial Library in a professional setting. Admission will be free. We are proposing to present professional artists in various places in their careers, from emerging to senior.

A Poetic Experience - Performance
This will be an experience including many dimensions of poetry: Sound, Music, Visual Poetic Play & Poetry Hacking! This event is meant to create a space where the audience is invited to interact with poetry in unique ways—an event meant to inspire! Several emerging artists will be guides to take the audience through the experience.
This is a special weeklong summer intensive for youth, aged 15 - 19, who are interested
in poetry, spoken word and slam. Youth will have the opportunity to work with mentors
Sheri-D Wilson (Poet Laureate of Calgary) and emerging artist Audrey Lane Cockett,
Monday - Friday at the Memorial Park Library.
